Season continues for Ivey Maddox & UAH Lady Chargers' hoops:
UAH goes on a comeback bid to get to Division II Final Four round:

GDW Analysis:
PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania: University of Alabama Huntsville Lady Chargers fought it out with Cal Poly Pomona, using a solid final 10:00 to overcome adversity and punch a trip to the NCAA Division II Final Four by the final of 61 to 53.
UAH had a 21 to 6 scoring streak that featured some big time plays from sophomore Ivey Maddox.
The former Good Hope Lady Raider went 4 of 6 from long range, scoring 12 points as UAH is now 32 & 5 for the season.
Cal Poly went from a 13 to 12 lead after the first to 33 to 21 at the half with a 20 to 9 advantage in the 2nd period.
UAH gained a 19 to 14 edge in 3rd period scoring, but went into the final stanza trailing 47 to 40.
Maddox was part of a surge with a three to get UAH within a point prior to the Lady Chargers taking momentum the rest of the way and never looking back.
Lili Wilken collected 19 points on 7 FGs and 5 FTs to lead the way.
Paris Opelt joined Maddox with 12 as she connected on 5 shots and scored a pair from the FT line.
Coach Allen Sharpe's Lady Chargers now set their sights on playing defending national champion Grand Valley State in the semifinals Thursday at 7:30 p.m. CST.
