GDW Analysis:
First place for the upcoming Cullman County tournament was on the line Monday with a huge crowd to see a girls game that lived up to the hype expected by Gameday Weekly.
An addition for West Point was solid play by others aside from the regular role models.
Two treys by Fell in the 1st helped them go up 19 to 13 when the first ended.
Harbison had a couple of shots to go and was playing hard on the defensive side.
Simmons stood her ground on defense when Good Hope would try to attack in spreading the ball around.
Shadix was hitting 6 of 8 from the line with 3 of 4 in the 3rd.
West Point had 10 point lead in the 4th before Good Hope answered with a run led by Davis before she left the game with an apparent knee bruise.
A three by Adams and 2 FGs from Konrad pulled them to 54 to 52 prior to the game clinching basket when Simmons drove right and tallied it off the glass and a 4 point margin with time running out.
John Welborn's Lady Warriors have won 14 in a row and are 5 & 0 in the county stands.
The loss stopped Good Hope's 8 game winning streak. Justin Aby's Lady Raiders fall to 4 & 1 in the county record.
West Point is ranked 4th in 5A glass with Good Hope currently 2nd.
