Fairview fell to 18 & 14.
Good Hope takes it from Vinemont in SF # 2:
Good Hope currently has Vinemont's number.
At this time a year ago, Good Hope stunned No. 1 seed Vinemont in the county semifinal from Holly Pond winning 3 games to 1.
In 2025, Good Hope has gone 4 out of 4 against Vinemont, knocking them out of a title chance by scores of 25 to 20 25 to 15 and 25 to 23.
Good Hope is the first team from the county to defeat Kaydi Woodard's Vinemont group on the home floor of the Lady Eagles.
The Lady Raiders outperformed the Lady Eagles, especially in certain moments of the match.
Vinemont led Good Hope 8 to 7 in Game 2 when Good Hope got control and scored 9 straight points to build a 16 to 8 advantage and control the set the rest of the way.
In the 3rd set, Vinemont hung close and tied the score at 21 to 21.
But afterwards, Vinemont served the ball out of bounds to give Good Hope a score and the Lady Raiders would claim the sweep at 6:34 p.m.

Good Hope: Lexi Marshall, Campbell Koch, Bella White, Isabella Guzman.

Best performer from the semifinal round:
Under analysis by GDW, West Point freshman Kenlee Perry was solid in a series of plays to help the Lady Warriors sweep Fairview and punch their ticket to the championship match.

Showdown for the county title Thursday:
At 6:30 pm, Good Hope is going for its 5th consecutive Cullman County championship under current coach Natasha Holder.
Good Hope defeated West Point in the finals last season at Holly Pond's Felton Easterwood Gymnasium as the No. 4 seed.
West Point is looking to claim the county hardware for the first time since 2021.
The top performer for West Point at the time was Lexi Shadix, the oldest of the three Shadix sisters who have made an impact with the Lady Warriors in this sport the past five years.
Laklin, the youngest of the trio, is a junior and a solid attacker on the front line for coach Cagle's group.
Good Hope will look for steady play from Koch, recently honored for 2,000 career assists, plus Marshall, Emma Herring and having an upstart season, Guzman a freshman and White.
