Two local golfers opt out of AHSAA all star match:

Bailey Sutter, John Lunsford no longer on the North team roster:

GDW Analysis:
MONTGOMERY - A pair of senior to be golfers will not be playing in the AHSAA all star match on July 21.
Bailey Sutter of West Point and John Lunsford of Cullman were originally selected to represent the North squad against the top linksters from the South when the AHSAA released the rosters on May 27.
Sutter has been busy since May with championships in the Alabama Golf Association, the Southern Golf Association and runner up to his brother Rawlin in the AGA amateur.
According to information, Sutter is to continue with USGA tournaments around the time of the all star match and is unable to stay committed after he was selected based on winning the 5A individual title and West Point coming home as the team champion.
Lunsford is part of a Cullman squad that enjoyed a strong run in the state with a 2nd place finish to Homewood.
The all stars selected based on nomination are entering their senior year of high school.
The following are to play in All Star Sports Week:
Charli Aris - West Point Golf (G) - July 21 at Arrowhead Country Club.
Paizley Whitlow - Cold Springs XC (G) July 22 at Gateway Park.
