Will local baseball games be able to play on Friday?
Two county games to determine seeding will try to go on March 14:

GDW Analysis:
Local baseball is paying close attention to weather personnel such as meteorologists from local radio like WKUL FM (92.1).
The possibility of severe weather on Thursday may make it difficult for games to go on regularly scheduled for Friday.
Two matchups are county battles with each trying to work their way through the seeding process before the Cullman County Tournament plays next weekend from Good Hope High School.
Gameday Weekly has researched to see where every team is currently in the standings.
Going into Friday's play, Fairview Aggies are 4 & 0 vs. county competitors while Hanceville is 1 & 1, West Point 3 & 1, Good Hope 3 & 2, Vinemont 2 & 2, Cold Springs 1 & 5 and Holly Pond 0 & 3.
West Point is to play at Vinemont with Hanceville visiting Good Hope Friday. Both games are to start at 4:30 p.m.
Hanceville and Vinemont meet on Monday from Mike Cupp Field. This is also a game in AHSAA 3A, Area 12.
From what GDW has been able to find out, the county tournament will be single elimination play with the quarterfinal round to be on March 21.
The 2 seed will play the 7 seed, No. 3 vs. No. 6 and No. 4 meets No. 5.
The top seed has a bye and will be on the diamond Saturday to play the winner of 4 vs. 5 in the semifinals.
The other semi will be the winner of 2/7 against 3/6.
Survivors from the quarterfinals and semifinals will face each other for the county championship.
Game times are to be announced.
West Point has won the last six county crowns under the command of Drew Bryson. Bryson got his 100th victory with the Warriors last Friday at home in a 5 to 0 shutout of Curry.
