GDW Analysis:
Coach John Welborn watched his No. 4 ranked team in Class 5A get defensive as the Lady Warriors allowed Lawrence County 2 FGs in the game's first 16:00 Tuesday evening.

West Point was a little slow in their offensive display, but much better as the game wore on.
Through the 2nd and 3rd, the Lady Warriors had a 32 to 10 scoring streak against the Red Devils.
It allowed Welborn to go into his bench with the reserves playing the final 8:00 after the starters had shown their superior play.
The Faulkner sisters rotated in their scoring duty. Camryn started with 7 in the 1st while Jaelyn had 6 in the 2nd and added 8 to her tally in the 3rd.
A three from Jaelyn in the 4th allowed her to close out with 17, ripping the cords for 7 FGs, 3 treys.
Camryn accounted for 5 shots, two from downtown to earn double digit honors.
West Point has 18 consecutive victories with the Lady Warriors winning 40 of their last 47 games dating back to the previous season.
This is the currently longest winning streak in local basketball.
