GDW Analysis:
Ready to go when the game tipped off, West Point got a quick 11 to 0 lead and was in control from there.
Leading 17 to 5 through the 1st, the Lady Warriors used a 21 point 2nd period to move the advantage to comfortable numbers at the break, 38 to 14.
Shadix dominated the scoring in the 1st half with 11 in the opening period on 4 close range FGs and 3 for 3 from the line.
Jaelyn Faulkner was hot with 5 FGs in the 2nd as the duo combined for 27 points by intermission.
A weapon was added in the game, reserve forward Pagan. Pagan would tally two FGs in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th to complete the night with a dozen on 6 made shots.
West Point is undefeated at Boyd Gymnasium with 6 victories in as many games.
The Lady Warriors remain 4th in the 5A state poll with Scottsboro still on top followed by Guntersville 2nd and Charles Henderson 3rd.
West Point has accounted for 6 victories on the hardwood since January 9 when they romped in a 69 to 46 triumph at Russellville in 5A Area 15 play.
The Lady Warriors end the regular season with a game on senior night Tuesday vs. Locust Fork at 5:00 p.m.
