AHSAA's 2025/26 season is around the corner:

Fall sports can start team workouts on the 1st of August:

GDW Analysis:
Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) is looking to the new sports year with it to begin in a month for fall sports programs.
In Cullman County, the seven schools will get together for a fall sports media day on July 21 from the board of education conference room.
Fall sports that involve local schools are football, volleyball and cross country.
That week is the AHSAA All Star Sports Week in Montgomery.
Coaching clinics will be on display as well as all star games and an awards banquet.
Gameday Weekly provides the following of where each sport will be in area or regional competition for fall sports.

 Football:
Cold Springs - 2A, Region 6 with Cleveland, Coosa Christian, Falkville, West End, Susan Moore, Southeastern, Winston Co
Cullman - 6A, Region 7 with Athens, Decatur, Columbia, Jasper, Hartselle, Muscle Shoals

 Fairview - 5A, Region 7 with Ardmore, East Limestone, Lawrence Co, Priceville, Russellville and West Point.
Good Hope - 4A, Region 5 with Curry, Cordova, Dora, Fultondale, Hamilton, Haleyville, Fayette Co.

 The AHSAA has set August 21 as the first day for fall sports to begin the new schedule.
