An outstanding AHSAA girls basketball all star game for 2025:

Plenty of girls all stars played like all stars July 22, 2025:

GDW Analysis:
MONTGOMERY: It will be remembered as an outstanding AHSAA girls basketball all star game on the night of July 22, 2025.
Team South and Team North laid it on the line with the game getting decided late by the South for an 85 to 75 victory, winning the all star classic for the first time since 2017.

Gameday Weekly appeared at this one and the facts speak on how delightful the 28 players invited to play this matchup from the Cramton Bowl Multiplex showed to a very good crowd of girls basketball supporters.
Cullman County has sent five young ladies to this classic in the last three years.
In 2023, Ivey Maddox of state champion Good Hope and Maci Brown of Cold Springs were contributors to a North victory.
A year ago, Good Hope's Ava McSwain showed her scoring skills to anchor the North in an 87 to 46 rout.
For 2025, Vinemont PG Reagan Robinson and West Point PG Jaelyn Faulkner added to the local tradition of talented personnel.
Both earned a selection to the North roster for how they were valuable to their prep teams in the previous season.
Robinson moved past 1,000 points in her Vinemont career and the Lady Eagles claimed a school record 22 victories and a trip to the sub regional round of the AHSAA 3A playoffs.
Faulkner stood out often with West Point having a good season of 24 wins, an area championship, sub regional victory and to the Sweet 16 in Class 5A.

Both can say they got to endure the opportunity of playing with a cast of all stars across North Alabama.
Very talented people that Gameday Weekly saw last prep season on Tuesday night included Lani Smallwood of Albertville, the North MVP in the battle with the South.
Bella Reese of Dora has been seen by GDW several times in the last 2 seasons, Makinley Taylor came from 1A state contender Ider, Campbell Barron of 2A winner Pisgah, Kristen Johnson from 6A runner up Hazel Green, Khloe Ford and Aaliyah Blanchard of 7A champion Hoover and Blakely Nixon from 7A runner up Hillcrest Tuscaloosa.

In following the game with scoring notes, GDW watched the North roll to a 10 to 0 lead to start the game, but fell behind 18 to 17 after the first period ended.
Very good three point shooting by both with the South 6 of 10 and a long range three put them up at the half in a well played game, 39 to 38.
The game was even at 55 to start the final period. The South poured it on by scoring 30 points in the frame, making 11 shots out of 21 tries.
Girls basketball in the AHSAA has soared to greater heights ever since the association changed the playoff format to sub regional and regional in 1994 before the state semifinals and championship games per classification would be played.
GDW is pleased of the fact that Robinson was selected the No. 1 point guard in the 2025 all performance team and Faulkner was 2nd to her.
Even though Robinson and Faulkner would not be on top in the case of the scoreboard, these two young ladies are winners for giving all out efforts all the time.
Both will look forward to their senior season with Vinemont for Robinson and West Point for Faulkner into continue the winning ways and for both to make deep runs into the 2026 AHSAA postseason.
