Braves sweep the Guardians to finish 5 & 1 in latest road tour:

GDW Analysis:
CLEVELAND: With the Milwaukee Brewers finally losing Sunday that ended a 14 game winning streak, the Atlanta Braves are the hottest team in Major League Baseball.
On Sunday, the Braves rallied to edge the Cleveland Guardians 5 to 4, getting a sweep of a solid ball club from the AL Central.
This concludes a week long road trip with the Braves winning five in a row, two from the NY Mets before they take down Cleveland 2 to 0, 10 to 1 and 5 to 4.
Nine wins in their last 11 games is what the Braves have experienced after last weekend when they nailed down 4 out of 5 against the Miami Marlins.
Cleveland scored a pair of runs in the 3rd and 4th to move on top by the score of 4 to 1.
The Braves answered with another comeback performance.
A throwing error in the 5th allowed Nate Allen to come home. That was followed by an Ozzie Albies single scoring Ronald Acuna Jr to close the deficit to 4 to 3.
In the Braves' 6th, leadoff batter Jurickson Profar stroked a 2 run home run with Nacho Alveraz scoring ahead of him. The Braves jumped on top at 5 to 4.
The Braves' bullpen stepped up as Aaron Bummer, Dylan Lee, Pierce Johnson and Rasiel Iglesias combined for 5 innings of 0 runs, 4 hits, 3 walks and 5 strikeouts.
Bummer was credited with the victory, improving to 3 & 2 on the season. Iglesias nailed down his 19th save of the season with 2 strikeouts in the final inning.
Now the Braves come back to Truist Park for half a dozen games on the home diamond next week.
The Chicago White Sox will visit with the opener to be Monday at 6:15 p.m. and on 92.1 FM.
Spencer Strider is to start for the Braves. He has been roughed up in his last 2 starts as he needs to regain his composure.
With the Braves 9 & 2 in their last 11 games, the win total is now at 56 & 68.
The White Sox are in the basement of the AL Central at 44 & 80 and have lost their last 4 games.
