Cold Springs Eagles claim 54 to 22 victory over Cleveland:

Winning at home is the new motto this season for CS football:

GDW Analysis:
COLD SPRINGS: Things are very much different for the Cold Springs Eagles this season at Cranford Stricklin than in 2024.
Last year, the Eagles failed to claim victory in five attempts at home.
How it has changed a month into the 2025 schedule with the Eagles executing very well from both sides of the football.
On Friday evening, Cold Springs ran over the Cleveland Panthers 54 to 22.
This gives the Eagles 3 for 3 in victory from Stricklin Stadium. It allowed the Eagles to even their record in 2A, Region 6 to 1 & 1.
Cold Springs put TD drives of 60 and 70 yards into the Cleveland end zone in the first quarter for a 16 to 0 lead.
A TD in the 2nd sent Brendan Voce's group to the locker room ahead 22 to 0.
The Eagles erupted for three TDs in the 3rd and scored once in the final period.

Cold Springs has accounted for 213 points through 4 games, averaging 53.2 a contest.
On the night, the Eagles tallied 466 yards of offense, 210 by halftime and 256 in the final half. The Eagles netted 25 first downs and had scoring drives of 60, 70, 99, 56 74, 63 and 61 yards.
What Voce did not adore was the Eagles with three double figure penalties in the 2nd, one that allowed Cleveland to gain a first down following a third down run.
The Eagles gave up three scores in the 2nd half on two scoring drives of 55 yards and a 70 yard march to the end zone in the final period.
Cold Springs' scores were the following:
Ayden Black 15 yard pass to Eli Voce in the 1st.
Casen Alexander 30 yard run in the 1st
Alexander 14 yard run in the 2nd
Black 56 yard run in the 3rd

Black 13 yard pass to Breydon Hallman in the 3rd.

Cooper Johnson 32 yard run in the 3rd.
Tycen Kilgo 3 yard run in the 4th.
Alexander had 129 yards on the ground through the first half.
Black tallied 55 yards of running and 55 yards passing in the 3rd.
Kilgo would amass 59 yards rushing.
Voce caught 5 passes for 57 yards and a TD.

Now the Eagles look to playing well with their next two games non regional and on the road.
Cold Springs will go to Winston County Friday and finish the month with a game at Lynn September 26.
