Cullman Bearcats enter 1st full week of new hoops season:

Chaos already up to high speed for Cullman on the hardwood:

GDW Analysis:
  One game into the new basketball season, the theme continues for the Cullman Bearcats.
Known of playing chaotic since the arrival of coach Stu Stuedeman, the fifth season under is command is right on cue.
Last Thursday, Chaos went to work in front of a large crowd from Bearcat Arena.
Cullman stormed over Oneonta 77 to 32.
This week the Bearcats see themselves on the hardwood for a couple of assignments.
Cullman and Decatur will lay it on the line Tuesday in the annual Veterans' Day Classic from Wallace State Community College.
Tip time is 2:00 p.m.
The 'Cats then return to Bearcat Arena Thursday playing Carbon Hill. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
Both games will be available on cullmanbearcats.com
Sam Dorough is the Bearcats' scoring threat from the perimeter. The senior was on target with 17 points in the opener.
In the last two years, Cullman has been superior on opening night.
In 2024, the Bearcats ran Brewer back to Morgan County 87 to 54.
This season, Oneonta's visit to Bearcat Arena not enjoyable following tip off with Cullman earning victory by a margin of 45 points.

 Decatur is no longer an area opponent. The Bearcats are in 6A, Area 13 with Jasper and Mortimer Jordan.
Cullman is very grateful to keep Decatur with the Red Raiders inspired of playing this matchup from Wallace State.
Ben Mastin is in his 2nd year coaching Decatur.
Mastin was at Danville a couple of seasons and before that, coached the Addison Bulldogs.
Decatur's roster is made up of 6 seniors. They have a pair of juniors and one player that is just a sophomore.
Dorough is joined by Owen Graves, Colton Bolden, Max Brooks and Gray Hopper in their senior season.
Emory Bonds, Grayson Gay and Bryce Burden are veteran juniors with the man in the middle at 6'6" is sophomore Brooks Loftin.
