Cullman 37, Decatur 13:
Cullman claimed its first win for new coach Trent Walker from Mark Britton Field/Oliver Woodard Stadium Friday evening.
The Bearcats outscored the Red Raiders 24 to 0 in the 2nd half after the game was tied at halftime 13 to 13.
Cullman finishes 6A, Region 7 at 2 & 4. The Bearcats are 3 & 6 on the total season.
Good Hope 24, Fayette Co 22:
GOOD HOPE: Needing a victory to stay around the top of 4A, Region 5, Good Hope did it in their final regular season game at James Shabel Stadium.
The Raiders led 12 to 8 at halftime against the Tigers.
Good Hope had a 24 to 14 lead in the 4th when Fayette County scored and narrowed the issue to 24 to 22.
The Raiders held on to improve to 5 & 1 in the region and 7 & 1 for the season.
Fayette County suffered its first loss in the region as the Tigers are 5 & 1 and 6 & 3 overall.
Fairview 41, Sardis 39:
SARDIS: The No. 4 team in Class 5A was given a stern test in Etowah County by a ball club that was 1 & 7 and losers of 6 straight.
Fairview trailed 26 to 20 at the half. Sardis made it 33 to 20 early in the 3rd when the Aggies answered with 3 TDs and held on to move to 8 & 0 for the season.
George Redding's Aggies have an 18 game regular season winning streak.
Southeastern 13, Cold Springs 8:
REMLAP: Southeastern scored a TD late in the 4th quarter to rally and drop Cold Springs to 6 & 3 and 2 & 3 in 2A, Region 6.
The Eagles went ahead with a TD and a 2 point conversion in the 3rd for an 8 to 7 advantage.
Southeastern is 2nd in the region at 4 & 1 and 6 & 2 overall.
Russellville 42, West Point 14:
RUSSELLVILLE: Russellville broke a 7 to 7 tie with West Point by entering the end zone twice in the 2nd to lead at the half 21 to 7.
The Golden Tigers extended the lead to 42 to 14 heading to the 4th quarter.
West Point fell to 4 & 4 and is 3 & 3 in 5A, Region 7.
Fyffe 54, Holly Pond 14:
HOLLY POND: No. 3 ranked Fyffe broke open a close game with Holly Pond by scoring 3 TDs in the 2nd quarter. The Red Devils went from leading 14 to 6 to 34 to 6 and coasted from there.
Holly Pond dropped to 4 & 4 and is 3 & 3 in 3A, Region 8.
Winfield 48, Hanceville 21:
HANCEVILLE: Winfield claimed a victory at Ray Talley Stadium that has the Pirates tied for the 3A, Region 5 lead with Vinemont and Gordo.
The Pirates are 5 & 1 in the region and 7 & 2 on the season.
Hanceville dropped to 0 & 8 and 0 & 6 in regional play.
