Teamwise, both showed superior play. But a pair of centers made their time on the Hartselle floor enjoyable.
Cullman's 6'2" center Molly Wilson used her size and strength in being a mismatch for Madison County and Columbia to contain her.
Wilson controlled the post, especially near the basket in both games.
Coach Tammy West was pleased on how others are moving along with this being the final week for playdays allowed by the AHSAA.
Perimeter scoring by Ava Allen, Kadence Hanback, Zoe Snider and Kaylee Johnson provided balance.
Cullman had Madison County down 37 to 13 at the half in coasting to a one sided affair.
