GDW Analysis:
Sunday evening was devoted to be a "Prayer Walk" coordinated by First Priority Campus at all school systems in Cullman, Morgan and Lawrence counties.
Gameday Weekly took part of the celebration from Cullman Christian School.
First Priority, based out of the Decatur area, focuses evangelistic strategy for elementary, middle school and high school campuses.
A teacher from Morgan County described it via social media as "God was smiling down from Heaven with all surrounding communities united in prayer at each school for administration, teachers, support staff, students and their families for the upcoming school year."
From Cullman Christian, participants gathered inside the lobby of the office of the property on Beech Avenue.
All events were coordinated by First Priority to begin the celebration Sunday at 6:00 p.m.
Volunteer Dawn Beard representing the organization, said "It was time to prey together, walk together and fill the moment of joy to everyone associated with the Christian School."
Through social media, the activity was reported from Vinemont, West Point, Hanceville, Good Hope and Cold Springs schools in Cullman County.
First Priority made the event memorable for having a poster signed by the participants at each school.
The photo would be delivered to the schools to symbolize the commitment of love and forgiveness to the Good Lord. First Priority values a personal relationship from each to Jesus Christ as their savior.
From their website, fpdecatur.org a list of club meetings take place from the following high schools locally.
Cold Springs, Cullman, Fairview, Good Hope, Hanceville, Holly Pond, Vinemont and West Point.
A certain day per week is designated with these meetings being held approximately 30 minutes before the start of the regular school schedule.
