Inclement weather to possibly impact local football schedule:
The weather is unpleasant for final week of local FB regular season:

GDW Analysis:
Much of the 2025 local football regular season has experienced good weather conditions.
That is not the case for the final week of the regular schedule as five teams are involved in this week's setup.
Wednesday's forecast called for periods of showers with possibly 1 to 2 inches to impact the immediate area.
Temperatures will be well under average with the high for Thursday and Friday to be in the low 50s.
Two games are on tap for Thursday inside Cullman County with the grass fields to be tested by mother nature as well as football players.
Thursday:
Good Hope (8 & 1) at Fairview (9 & 0).
The WKUL FM (92.1) Game of the Week from Dafford Smith Stadium 7:00 p.m.
Fairview has an 18 & 0 regular season record since 2024 while Good Hope has gone 17 & 2.
The winner will be declared the best team in Cullman County this season.
Good Hope was ranked 10th in last week's 4A state poll. Fairview No. 4 in Class 5A.
Brewer (3 & 6) at West Point (5 & 4)
Regular season finale from West Point Stadium at 7:00 p.m.
West Point is 21 & 14 all time against their rival from Morgan County.
The Warriors have won 3 in a row at home, coming off a 25 to 20 victory over Ardmore that clinched a playoff berth for them in Class 5A.
Brewer has a quality win this month in a 34 to 31 upset of 5A, Region 8 champion Scottsboro on the road.
The Patriots outscored Sardis 39 to 32 last week to end a 2 game losing streak.
Hanceville (0 & 9) at Oak Grove (7 & 2)
Bulldogs play at Oak Grove for the first time. Oak Grove is a 4A program, located in the southern part of Jefferson County.
Kickoff will be at 7:00 p.m.
Hanceville deals with an Oak Grove squad that is 2nd in 4A, Region 4 and is 4 & 0 on the home field.
The Bulldogs have experienced a challenging season in which they are yielding 65 points a game to the opposition.
Friday:
Cleveland (2 & 7) at Holly Pond (4 & 5)
Final game of 2025 for the Broncos at Thomas/Michelfelder Field at 7:00 p.m.
The game will be on hollypondbroncos.com
Holly Pond can have its best season since the Broncos won 6 games back in 2018.
Cleveland is with a 5 game losing streak, losing last week to Blount County foe Susan Moore 54 to 28.
The Panthers are 0 & 1 inside Cullman County this season, dropping a 54 to 22 decision at Cold Springs September 12.
Holly Pond has gone 2 & 2 in playing at home this season.
