Cold Springs caps off a great week in winning at Cullman Christian:

  Winning has been unfortunately a rare occasion for Cold Springs volleyball this season.
But for the final week of the regular schedule, the thrill of it has been a blessing.
On Tuesday in playing at home the final time, Cold Springs stunned Vinemont 3 games to 1. This was huge for Cold Springs as they had lost in the Cullman County tournament to Vinemont the week before in 5 sets.
Thursday, the Lady Eagles made a first time visit to Cullman Christian School.
Both teams went to work with the match going the distance and Cold Springs claiming triumph 3 games to 2.

 Cold Springs is a young group with only one senior, Cheyenne Bishop.
The mainstay of the team is by the play of freshmen Hagan Ellis and Joli Williams, sophomores Allie Light and Myranda Dykes and junior Kelsy Wilson.
Wilson has enjoyed her first season with the squad in giving all out efforts on a consistent level when seen by Gameday Weekly.
Coach Kate Peek is pleased for the tea has maintained proper work ethics and now a pair of wins for the final week.
Cold Springs is playing in a pre area tournament Saturday at Supreme Courts in Guntersville. Peek told GDW this will be a key to build momentum into the postseason.
The Lady Eagles are in 2A, Area 11 with a matchup vs. Falkville Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from Winston County High School. The winner will play Winston County for the championship later that day.
Thursday was senior day for Cullman Christian School. The Lady Lions recognized Gracie Stidham and Jerrica Bell following the match.
Cullman Christian has progressed from the start of the season with their postseason to be in Class 1A, Area 14 next Thursday at Addison.
CCS will meek Meek in the semifinal round with the winner to play the winner of Addison vs. St. Bernard for the championship.
Coach Sydney Rowell has seen the Lady Lions roll of 12 victories, setting a run with four consecutive wins between September 29 to October 2 against Sumiton Christian, St. Bernard, JB Pennington and Falkville.
