7th grade game combines for an entertaining 98 points:

Cullman Middle School was the scene for Gameday Weekly to start a busy week of reporting on action from the hardwood.
Plenty of scoring Monday evening was featured in the opener, the battle of 7th grade teams, Cullman and Muscle Shoals.
Cullman got an impressive 54 to 44 victory as the two set the nets on fire, combining for 98 points.
That was the only time Cullman MS would prevail on November 3.
Muscle Shoals girls had a strong 2nd half for a 36 to 25 victory.
The Muscle Shoals 8th grade started fast and was able to outlast Cullman 49 to 42.
7th grade:
Cullman was very sufficient in the opening 6:00 of play with Muscle Shoals, getting ahead of the visitors 15 to 4.
The quick surge was enough for Cullman to claim victory as Muscle Shoals claimed 40 points the rest of the contest to 39 for the Bearcats.
Cullman led 26 to 15 at the half and took a 38 to 32 lead into the final period. A 16 to 12 edge on the scoreboard allowed the Bearcats to win the contest by double digits.
PG Bryston Broad was hot for Cullman with 22 points, Wood Miner added 11 and Jason Miner scored 10.
Freeman ripped the cords or a game high 24 for Muscle Shoals.
Girls:
Cullman erased an early deficit by moving in front 9 to 8 to end the first and led 18 to 13 at the break.
Muscle Shoals went on a 14 to 2 run in the 3rd to take the lead at 27 to 20.
Cullman managed 5 points in the 4th, not enough to make a comeback try.
Zion Sanders led Muscle Shoals with 16.
Lucy Wooten and Gracelyn Mitchell both scored 7 for the Lady Bearcats.
8th Grade:
Muscle Shoals stunned Cullman with a 19 to 4 first period lead.
Poise was the tone for Cullman in which the Bearcats managed to reduce the deficit to 26 to 18 at the half and went on a 15 to 6 run in the 3rd and were down by the score of 33 to 32.
That would be it for Cullman. A 10 to 1 run from Muscle Shoals gave the Trojans breathing room once the contest entered crunch time.
Carson Richter stood out for Cullman in a game high 23 point performance.
Tillman Oldacre added 10.
Ritter, a PG for Muscle Shoals, scored 18, making 4 shots count from 3 point range.

7th grade at 5:00 p.m.
8th grade at 6:00 p.m.
