After coaching Cold Springs to 754 victories and greatness with 4 AHSAA state championships, West was offered the chance to come to Cullman, a program that shown competitive fashion in recent seasons.
A good run late in the 2024/25 schedule got Cullman into the Sweet 16 of the AHSAA 6A playoffs.
West has a team that provides game type experience with the strength of the squad coming from their frontline.
Molly Dorough and Rachel Hoffman are in their senior year as both have shown consistency in their role as Dorough being a shooting guard/forward and Hoffman working as a power forward.

Add the play of junior Molly Wilson in the middle and Cullman can be difficult to defend on three various options from the offensive perspective.
The thing West is looking for will be guard play that can handle possessions and provide scoring from the perimeter.
Senior Kadence Hanback has the tools for shooting the 3 ball on the wings.
Zoe Snider played a lot last season as a point guard. Snider is now a junior.
Kentley White is experienced in the backcourt as she is recovering from having ACL surgery several months ago.
Junior Hattie Graham got promoted to the varsity late last season and was a factor in Cullman getting big wins in the area playoffs against Jasper and a sub regional OT upset at Clay Chalkville.
After the opener with Oneonta, West and the Lady 'Cats play Arab on November 11 at Wallace State CC.
Cullman takes a trip to Priceville the 15th to be involved in a classic hosted by the 5A school from Morgan County.
Another solid ball club, Dora, will pay a visit to Bearcat Arena November 20.
Cullman is paired up with Jasper and Mortimer Jordan in Area 13 of Class 6A once again.

The Lady 'Cats are in belief of what West brings to them from the sideline will be transferred on to the hardwood with the squad seeking their first area championship since 2020.
