No offense for the Braves, but they get a shutout victory:
A 1 to 0 final Wednesday after a pair of offensive explosions:

GDW Analysis:
ATLANTA: Given the ball to finish the 3 game series against the White Sox, Braves' rookie Hurston Waldrep did his job Wednesday evening.
A mishandled ground ball at short in the 4th enabled the lone run for the Braves to come aboard and a 1 to 0 victory.
This was so different after the two teams went on scoring rampages Monday and Tuesday. The White Sox romped to a 13 to 9 triumph Monday and the Braves answered with an 11 to 10 comeback Tuesday from Truist Park.
Waldrep, in his 4th game for the Braves since the Speedway Classic at Bristol Motor Speedway, silenced Chicago with 7 innings of just 4 hits, 0 runs, 7 strikeouts.
He has an ERA of 0.73 in his rookie year with the team.
Pierce Johnson was good for a scoreless 8th and Rasiel Iglesias retired them in order in the 9th and got his 21st save of the year. Iglesias has converted 10 consecutive saves.
The Braves go to 57 & 69 with the victory as they have been a winner in 11 of their last 14 decisions.
Thursday is an off day for the Braves and a chance for 1B Matt Olson to rest an injured toe.
Olson has played in 747 consecutive games, moving ahead of legendary Pete Rose in that statistic.
Now the New York Mets visit with Game 1 to be Friday at 6:15 p,m.
The games will be available this weekend on WKUL FM (92.1).
