Plenty of locals to be involved in AHSAA All Star Sports Week:
Six athletes to step into the All Star spotlight week of July 21:

MONTGOMERY: Local athletes will be involved in the AHSAA All Star Sports Week the week of July 21/25 in the Capitol City.
Gameday Weekly was aware that Vinemont's Reagan Robinson, West Point's Jaelyn Faulkner would be in the basketball game plus Cold Springs' Paizley Whitlow to compete against good competition in cross country.
Other athletes were named by the coaches athletic directors' association Tuesday.
Golf:
Bailey Sutter of West Point
Charli Aris of West Point.
John Lunsford of Cullman
Courtney Coots of West Point (North head coach)
Sutter is the 2025 AHSAA 5A individual champion. Aris helped the West Point Lady Warriors to runner up in their event.
Lunsford comes from a Cullman program that made a strong run in 6A play.
Tennis:
Allie Krigbaum of Cullman.
History:
The All Star Sports Week began in July 1997 with all star competition, featuring athletes going into their senior year in high school.
All Star games are played in baseball, softball, basketball, golf, tennis, soccer and cross country at various venues in Montgomery.
Coaching clinics and awards banquets will be part of the week long activity.
Cold Springs XC and TK coach Casey Howell will be recognized for his success in 2024/25.
West Point GF Junior Lynn will also be honored during the championship banquet on the 24th.
