Four local schools to be on the field in preseaon jamborees:

GDW Analysis:
Four local football teams will step on to the field for preseason jamboree games.
All will be played on Friday.
County rivals West Point and Hanceville clash at Ray Talley Stadium.
They faced each other a year ago in a jamboree from West Point. Now the rivalry shifts to the Hanceville campus.
Kickoff is 7:00 p.m.
Elsewhere, the Cullman are going to a place they have never been to in the history of playing football since 1915.
Cullman is in a jamboree at Winston County High School. The Bearcats face Winston County for a half starting at 5:30 p.m. and have Cordova for a half around 7:30 p.m.
The jamboree is at Malcolm Blake Stadium in Double Springs.
Winston County will be a good challenge for the Bearcats with first year coach Trent Walker. The Yellow Jackets compiled a 12 & 1 mark lasts season, the best single season the school has endured.
Long time foes the Holly Pond Broncos and JB Pennington Tigers do battle from Blountsville at 6:00 p.m.
Holly Pond is in its 2nd year with Will McDaniel. The Broncos went from a 2 win ball club in 2023 to 4 & 6 last season, missing the state playoffs by one game.
Pennington is 30 & 14 all time vs. Holly Pond. The last time the two played was in 2021 with Pennington winning 49 to 6.

Brewer Patriots meet the Danville Hawks Friday from Florette at 7:00 p.m.
The Jasper Vikings and Gardendale Rockets go to battle Friday 7:00 p.m. from Ki-Ro/Gambrill Field.
At Burl Vest Stadium Friday is the Falkville Blue Devils vs. the Meek Tigers. The game is set for 7:00 p.m. from Falkville.
