GDW Analysis:
Senior night Tuesday was great for the 5 representing the West Point Lady Warriors, especially for Kealie Harbison.
Harbison went to work with a sound 2nd period of hitting 6 FGs as she accounted for a dozen of the team's 20 points in the period and West Point left the floor with a 36 to 6 lead.
Camryn Faulkner became the go to person with 6 FGs in the 2nd half, 4 during the 3rd and had 13 or her 18 in the final half.
West Point finishes the regular season with 25 consecutive victories as they will host the 5A Area 15 championship January 09 against the winner from the semifinal game between Lawrence County and Russellville.
The five seniors who were honored after the game are the Faulkner sisters, Harbison, Simmons and Fell.
This group has seen many wins in the last 3 years with John Welborn as they are 71 & 13 since 2023/24.
West Point has gone 7 & 0 at home this season.
They are currently ranked 4th in the 5A state basketball poll.
