Tammy West directs her first youth hoops camp at Cullman HS:

Fifty kids enjoy the 3 day activity from Bearcat Arena:

GDW Analysis:
Directing a youth girls basketball camp is nothing new to Tammy West.
The only thing different about the situation is the location.
West is now leading the Cullman Lady Bearcats after she put together a legacy of 33 years with the Cold Springs Lady Eagles.
West ranks 5th all time in Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) girls basketball history with 754 victories.
For the past three days, West encountered 50 young ladies between kindergarten to the 6th grade for the Lady Bearcats camp from Bearcat Arena.
Working along side West is her coaching staff of assistants Nina Moss and Lydia Burgess, plus her 2025/26 squad.
A couple of guest instructors, Heather and Bailey Tetro from the Wallace State Lady Lions provided tips on the game that has enabled both to be a high school state champion and junior college title winner.
Gameday Weekly went to the camp Monday morning and Wednesday morning.
West made her point to the group of working hard and having fun along the way.
The camp was designed in a variety of fundamentals and a series of competitive events.
Pre condition warmups were part of the process for the players to understand the ethics of being ready body wise to go into the purpose of learning the sport.
Each participant received a Lady Bearcats camp t-shirt.

West just recently finished the June playday schedule with Cullman involved in events held at Wallace State, the University of Alabama, West Point High School, Athens High School.
Now the youth camp provides exposure to West and the Cullman program.
Many of these campers will probably be seen at numerous games for the Lady 'Cats in West's inaugural season from Bearcat Arena.
