Updated records before the Cullman County tourney is played:
Not everyone has played their 6 game county schedule for seeding:

GDW Analysis:

Girls:
West Point 6 & 0, Good Hope 4 & 1, Vinemont 3 & 2,
Fairview 3 & 3, Cold Springs 3 & 3, Holly Pond 1 & 5, Hanceville 0 & 6
Varsity:
Cold Springs 6 & 0, West Point 4 & 2, Fairview 3 & 3, Holly Pond 3 & 3, Vinemont 2 & 3, Good Hope 1 & 4, Hanceville 1 & 5.
According to what Gameday Weekly is aware of, the pairings for the 2026 county tournament is to be drawn Wednesday from the CCBOE conference room.
However, not everyone has played their required 6 game schedule.
Good Hope and Vinemont are currently scheduled to play January 12 at Vinemont.
The games were postponed November 21 due to Good Hope in the quarterfinal round of the AHSAA football playoffs.
As GDW understands, everyone has to take part in a full schedule.
West Point and Fairview played Saturday in making up an early season postponement with Fairview involved in the AHSAA football playoffs.
If the Vinemont Eagles defeat Good Hope on January 12, they would join Fairview and Holly Pond as 3 & 3 in county games.
Fairview has head to head on Holly Pond, Holly Pond head to head on Vinemont and Vinemont head to head on Fairview.
If this is applied, Holly Pond has the advantage for beating a team seeded higher than they are. That is West Point when the Broncos won in OT on November 14 at Jim Boyd Gymnasium.
If Vinemont's Lady Eagles defeat Good Hope, they would be the 2nd seed for the fact of head to head with Good Hope.
Fairview and Cold Springs have gone 3 & 3 in the pairings. Fairview has the head to head for victory against Cold Springs in December.
GDW looked at websites the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) is involved with.
It currently has Good Hope at Vinemont in girls and varsity play, January 12, 5 days after the pairings are scheduled to be set.
GDW has not been able to get in contact with the CCBOE for the school system has been closed since December 22.
The schools return to the classroom on Tuesday with the county office to be open as well.
GDW will attend the pairings and see how this situation can be worked out on if the system can get the Vinemont vs. Good Hope game to be played earlier than January 12.
