GORDO: Vinemont made a huge statement in how they have made strides after starting the 2025 schedule with losses to Falkville and Southeastern.
The Eagles went to Green Wave Stadium Friday evening and came home with a victory over the No. 3 squad in Class 3A,
Vinemont is 6 & 2 with a 6 game winning streak.
The Eagles go to 5 & 0 in Region 5. This was Vinemont's first time to play at Gordo, located West of Tuscaloosa in Pickens County.
Fairview 28, Priceville 9:
PRICEVILLE: Fairview punched the ticket to the 5A, Region 7 regular season title Friday evening with a good performance at Bulldog Stadium.
The Aggies led 14 to 3 at halftime and put the game out of reach with a TD in the 3rd and one in the 4th.
George Redding's Aggies are 7 & 0 and 5 & 0 in the regional standings.
The Aggies have won 17 consecutive regular season games.
Hamilton 28, Good Hope 21:
HAMILTON: A battle of undefeated teams in 4A, Region 5 that didn't go well for last year's regional champion Good Hope.
The Raiders suffer their first loss of the season to a Hamilton team that entered the game 10th in the 4A state poll.
Hamilton stopped the No. 5 team in 4A and is 8 & 0 after this victory.
Good Hope fell to 6 & 1 and 4 & 1 in the region.
Cullman 39, Columbia 0:
HUNTSVILLE: From legendary Milton Frank Stadium, the Cullman Bearcats sent the Columbia Eagles to their 98th consecutive loss Friday evening.
Cullman controlled the first half with a 30 to 0 lead by halftime.
The Bearcats are 2 & 6 and 1 & 5 in 6A, Region 7.
Midfield 56, Hanceville 20:
MIDFIELD: Hanceville held a 20 to 16 halftime lead. Midfield buried the Bulldogs with 6 TDs in the final half.
Hanceville fell to 0 & 7 and 0 & 5 in 3A, Region 5.

CS fell to 6 & 2, 2 & 2 in 2A, R 6.
