The 2025 season is one month old and more excitement to come:

Flash Facts from the 4th week of local football:
  * A 6 & 1 record in Week with the county teams matches the same mark from Week 4 of the 2024 schedule.
* Wins at Cold Springs, Fairview, Good Hope and Vinemont locally. Losses were in Cullman and Hanceville.
* Holly Pond Broncos 3 & 1, their best start since 2018. Broncos are tied for 1st in 3A, Region 8.
* Vinemont started 0 & 2 this year. Eagles now have won 2 in a row, both in 3A, Region 5 play.
* Fairview Aggies 14 game regular season winning streak. Aggies are 52 & 11 since 2020.
* Good Hope delivers back to back shutout wins.
Raiders 42 to 0 over Haleyville a week after 52 to 0 rout at Fultondale. Raiders in 1st in 4A, Region 5.
* Cold Springs Eagles 3 & 0 at home. The Eagles were 0 & 5 as a home squad last season.
* Cullman Bearcats 0 & 4 for the first time to start a football season. Last 3 losses have been by a point, 3 points and one point.
* No close games - Cold Springs 54 to 22 over Cleveland, Fairview 42 to 7 over Ardmore, Good Hope 42 to 0 over Haleyville, Holly Pond 60 to 12 over Brindlee Mountain, Vinemont 37 to 16 over Midfield, West Point 41 to 8 over Lawrence Co.
* First place in their region - Fairview in 5A, R 7, Good Hope in 4A, R 5, Holly Pond in 3A, R 8 and Vinemont in 3A, R 5.
* Cold Springs win over Cleveland is the first by a Cullman County school vs. Blount County this season. Cullman Co is 1 & 3 against Blount Co.
* West Point 41 to 8 victory over Lawrence Co is the Warriors largest against the Red Devils since 2012 when they won a shutout 43 to 0.

Muscle Shoals 4 & 0 at Cullman 0 & 4 in 6A, R 7
Cordova 2 & 2 at Good Hope 3 & 0 in 4A, R 5
Geraldine 3 & 0 at Holly Pond 3 & 1 in 3A, R 8
Cold Springs 3 & 1 at Winston Co 3 & 1
Hanceville 0 & 4 at Oakman 1 & 3 in 3A, R 5
Vinemont 2 & 2 at Carbon Hill 1 & 3 in 3A, R 5
West Point 2 & 2 is idle
Kickoff for each game Friday is 7:00 p.m.
